ATE, headquartered in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, was formed in September 1999 to develop and make strategic investments in renewable energy markets.

ATE provides financial support for electric power projects based on renewable energy resources. It provides development capital and equity to project developers in order to bring projects to financial close, and currently manages a growing portfolio of financially robust renewable energy projects.

As the first of its kind in the Middle East, ATE will promote new energy technologies applicable to the Middle Eastern environment.

ATE’s objective is to build a portfolio of high return investments in renewable energy and energy efficiency projects and companies.
