Equity investments in project or project companies up to $ 5,000,000

Current ATE equity investments range from $500,000 to $5,000,000.

Minority ownership position

ATE does not take a majority ownership position in any project or project company although in order to launch a new venture it may be the sole owner until additional investors join.

Limited financial assistance to project development

Many new projects and project companies require startup capital. Companies in which ATE has made an equity commitment may also receive development loans in order to bring projects to financial close.

Internal Rate of Return on equity of 25% or higher

Because ATE's project focus is primarily in developing countries it requires an internal rate of return on equity of 25% or higher. Lower returns may be accepted when investment risk is low.
